Getting Started

Welcome to OneProvider documentation. This chapter helps you go from a new account to a running service as quickly as possible.

What you can do with OneProvider

OneProvider offers multiple product types to fit different needs:

  • OneCloud (Cloud Instances): virtual machines you can deploy quickly (availability depends on regional capacity)
  • Bare Metal (Dedicated Servers): physical servers for dedicated performance (availability depends on hardware stock, and some offers may be on-demand)

Typical setup path

Most users follow this flow:

  1. Create an account and log in to the Client Area
  2. Verify your account (only if requested)
  3. Choose a product and location
  4. Place your order
  5. Wait for provisioning
  6. Connect to your server/VM
  7. Apply basic security hardening and set up backups

Choosing between OneCloud and Bare Metal

Choose OneCloud if you need:

  • Fast deployment
  • Flexible scaling
  • Easy redeploy/rebuild workflows
  • A VM for development, testing, or general hosting

Choose Bare Metal if you need:

  • Dedicated physical resources
  • Specific hardware configurations
  • Consistent performance for heavy workloads (databases, virtualization, high I/O)

Note

Not all locations and configurations are always available. OneCloud is capacity-based, and Bare Metal is stock-based.

Where to find help

If you get stuck:

  • Check the relevant section in this documentation (ordering, locations, OneCloud quickstarts, billing)
  • Use the Client Area to open a support ticket with:
    • Your order number or service ID
    • The location and product type
    • Any error message or screenshot (if applicable)
