Datacenter locations
OneProvider offers services in multiple datacenter locations worldwide. When you place an order, you can usually choose a location (depending on product availability) to optimize for latency, compliance needs, and regional connectivity.
OneCloud vs Bare Metal: how locations differ
OneCloud (Cloud Instances)
OneCloud locations are based on cloud capacity in each region.
- Locations shown at checkout reflect current availability
- A location may temporarily disappear if capacity is limited
- If you need to “move” to another location, the typical method is to deploy a new instance in the new region and migrate your data
Bare Metal (Dedicated Servers)
Bare metal locations are based on physical datacenter stock.
- Availability depends on the exact server model/configuration and inventory in that location
- Some servers may be offered on-demand, but deployment still depends on availability/lead time
- If you need a specific datacenter or hardware that is not listed, contact Sales to check options
How to choose a location
When ordering a service:
- Go to the product you want to purchase.
- Select a location / datacenter from the available options.
- Complete checkout.
Note
If a location does not appear in the order form, it is not currently available for that specific product/configuration.
What “location” means
A datacenter location generally determines:
- Where your server/VM is hosted (the physical region)
- Latency to your users (closer is usually faster)
- Local routing and connectivity (varies by region/provider)
- Legal/jurisdiction considerations (local laws may apply)
Changing the location later
In most cases, a service’s datacenter location cannot be changed in-place after deployment. If you need a different location, the typical approach is:
- Order a new service in the desired location
- Migrate your data and configuration
- Cancel the old service when migration is complete
Checking your current location
You can view the assigned location in the Client Area by opening the service details page. The location/region is typically shown alongside the service information.
