Provisioning timelines

Provisioning timelines

Provisioning time depends on what you ordered and the selected location/configuration. This page explains typical expectations for OneCloud and Bare Metal.

OneCloud (Cloud Instances)

OneCloud instances are usually provisioned quickly once the order is accepted and paid (if applicable).

Typical factors that affect timing:

  • Regional capacity at the time of deployment
  • Image/OS selection
  • Verification requirements (if triggered)

If a region is temporarily at capacity, you may need to deploy in another available region or try again later.

Bare Metal (Dedicated Servers)

Bare metal provisioning depends on stock and whether the server is:

  • In stock / ready-to-deploy, or
  • On-demand, which may require preparation time and depends on availability

Bare metal timelines can vary significantly based on:

  • Hardware stock in the chosen datacenter
  • Required setup (OS installation, RAID, networking)
  • Additional IP requests or special requirements
  • Verification requirements (if triggered)

Note

If you have strict deadlines or need a specific server in a specific datacenter, contact Sales before ordering to confirm availability and expected lead time.

Where to check your provisioning status

You can follow the status of your order in the Client Area (order/service page). If additional information is required, it will typically be requested there.
