OneCloud offers three main plan categories:
- Development
- General Purpose
- High-Performance
Each category is designed for different workloads, performance expectations, and budget levels.
Each OneCloud plan type is built for a different use case.
| Plan Type | Best For | Storage Type | Traffic Model |
|---|---|---|---|
| Development | Testing, development, lightweight workloads, learning environments | SSD | Unmetered |
| General Purpose | Websites, business applications, databases, general production workloads | SSD | Traffic allowance based on plan |
| High-Performance | Resource-intensive workloads, demanding applications, high I/O environments | NVMe | Unmetered |
Development plans are the most budget-friendly option and are mainly suited for low-demand environments. General Purpose plans offer a balance between cost and performance. High-Performance plans are designed for workloads that need faster disk performance and stronger compute capacity.
Storage depends on the plan category:
- Development plans use SSD
- General Purpose plans use SSD
- High-Performance plans use NVMe
NVMe storage generally offers faster read and write performance than standard SSD storage, which makes High-Performance plans better suited for more demanding workloads such as intensive databases, high-traffic applications, and disk-heavy processes.
The best plan depends on your intended use:
- Choose Development for testing, learning, personal projects, or lightweight applications
- Choose General Purpose for websites, business applications, moderate databases, and most standard production workloads
- Choose High-Performance for demanding applications, higher traffic services, heavier databases, and workloads that benefit from faster disk I/O
If you are unsure, General Purpose is usually the best starting point for typical production use.
OneCloud instances are billed hourly, based on the resources assigned to each virtual machine.
Customers must maintain available account funds in order to run OneCloud instances. A usage summary invoice is generated monthly for the previous month’s usage.
Yes. OneCloud requires available account funds in order to operate virtual machines.
If your usage exceeds your available balance, a warning email is sent and an invoice is generated. You generally have a short grace period to pay before the affected virtual machines may be suspended.
Each OneCloud plan includes a traffic model depending on the selected plan.
If your usage exceeds the included traffic amount on applicable plans, bandwidth overage is billed at $0.05 per GB.
No. Traffic depends on the plan category:
- Development plans include unmetered traffic
- General Purpose plans include a traffic allowance based on the selected plan
- High-Performance plans include unmetered traffic
Customers choosing General Purpose plans should review the included traffic amount for the specific plan before deployment.
For verified accounts, OneCloud instances are generally deployed instantly.
For accounts requiring verification, the instance is deployed after verification is successfully completed.
OneCloud is available in multiple locations worldwide across North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Africa, and Oceania.
Available locations may change over time depending on platform availability and operational conditions.

This can be useful if you lose SSH access or need to troubleshoot boot, firewall, or configuration issues.
Yes. OneCloud supports rescue mode in supported cases.
Rescue mode can be used for troubleshooting, repair tasks, and recovery when the instance is not accessible normally.
IP allocation depends on the selected plan type:
- Development plans include IPv6 by default, while IPv4 is available as an add-on
- General Purpose and High-Performance plans include both IPv4 and IPv6 by default
At this time, IP addresses are generally limited to one per OneCloud plan.
Yes. On OneCloud instances, email-related ports such as port 25 are blocked by default.
If you need to send email from a OneCloud instance, you must contact support and provide a valid justification. Requests are reviewed according to compliance and security requirements.
OneCloud provides a list of available operating system templates and supported installation options.
If the operating system you need is not currently listed, you may contact support to ask whether it can be added.
Deleting an instance permanently removes the virtual machine and its data unless you have retained a backup or saved image.
Caution
Deleting a virtual machine should be considered permanent unless recovery resources were created beforehand.
Yes. OneCloud is suitable for many production workloads, especially websites, applications, APIs, development platforms, and services that benefit from rapid deployment and flexible scaling.
For workloads requiring exclusive physical hardware or stronger dedicated resource isolation, a bare metal server may be a better fit.
Bare Metal
A bare metal server is a dedicated physical server assigned to a single customer.
Unlike a virtual machine, all hardware resources of the server are reserved for your use only.
Bare metal is generally recommended when you need:
- Dedicated hardware resources
- Consistent performance
- High resource availability
- More control over physical server capacity
- Infrastructure for demanding or resource-intensive workloads
| Feature | OneCloud | Bare Metal |
|---|---|---|
| Resource Type | Virtualized | Dedicated physical hardware |
| Provisioning | Usually faster | May require more setup time |
| Flexibility | High | Depends on hardware configuration |
| Performance Isolation | Shared platform | Full hardware exclusivity |
| Best For | Flexible cloud workloads | Intensive, dedicated, or high-performance workloads |
Deployment time depends on the server model, datacenter location, and current stock availability.
Some servers are delivered quickly, while others may require additional preparation before they are ready.
Dedicated servers are usually delivered within 1 to 3 business days from payment confirmation, although some locations may take longer.
Yes. Reinstallation options are generally available, depending on the server and location.
As with any reinstall, data stored on the server may be erased during the process.
In some cases, a reinstallation fee may apply unless the server includes one of the supported management consoles.
Available operating systems depend on the server model and datacenter location.
These may include a variety of Linux distributions and, where supported, Windows operating system options. Linux installations generally do not carry OS licensing costs, while Windows installations include Windows licensing costs. [4]
Upgrade possibilities depend on the server hardware, datacenter support, and available stock.
Some servers may support upgrades such as additional RAM or storage, while others may require migration to a different configuration. Many locations also offer customization options such as RAM upgrades, disk upgrades, hardware RAID, additional IPs, DDoS protection, and private networking.
Remote management features vary depending on the server and datacenter integration.
Where available, customers may have access to recovery tools, console access, or remote management such as IPMI. For example, IPMI session access is available on supported servers such as certain Paris and Amsterdam servers through OnePanel.
If a hardware issue occurs, our team will work to resolve the problem according to the service conditions and applicable operational procedures.
This may involve hardware replacement, service restoration, or migration depending on the nature of the issue.
Caution
Customers remain responsible for maintaining backups of their data unless a managed backup solution is explicitly included.
Additional IP addresses may be available depending on the location, network policy, and service configuration.
Availability is subject to technical and regulatory conditions. In some supported locations, additional IPs can be ordered directly from the server management page.
Yes. Bare metal servers are commonly used for production environments where dedicated performance, full hardware access, and predictable resource availability are important.
Billing and Service Management
You may request cancellation from the customer portal before the next renewal date.
Cancellation generally stops the service from renewing for the next billing cycle. It does not automatically create a refund for the current billing period unless the service is eligible under the refund policy.
For most services, cancellation requests should be submitted at least 7 days before the next due date.
If an invoice is not paid on time, the related service may become overdue and may eventually be suspended or terminated according to the billing policy.
OneProvider states that unpaid services may be suspended after the due date and terminated starting on the third day after the due date. Late fees may also apply.
Renewal behavior depends on the service and the billing configuration shown in your account.
Invoices are generated in advance of the due date, and credit cards can be billed automatically unless a request is made to disable that behavior through the billing team in OnePanel.
Yes. Some ports or network services may be restricted, filtered, or limited for security, anti-abuse, or datacenter policy reasons.
For example, email-related ports such as port 25 are blocked by default on OneCloud instances and may require approval from support to be opened. On dedicated servers, these ports are generally open unless the IP has been flagged for spam or abuse.
Before cancelling a service, you should:
- Back up all important data
- Confirm whether you still need access to the service
- Review your renewal date
- Make sure any important configurations or files have been saved elsewhere
Tip
Once a service is terminated, stored data may no longer be recoverable.
