Common reasons for delays

Common reasons for delays

Most services are provisioned as quickly as possible, but delays can happen. Below are common causes and what you can do.

1) Account verification is required

Some orders require verification before activation. If verification is pending:

  • Check the Client Area for instructions or requests
  • Ensure all submitted information is complete and consistent

2) Payment is pending or incomplete

Provisioning can be delayed if:

  • Payment has not completed
  • The invoice is unpaid
  • The payment method requires additional steps

Check your invoice status in the Client Area.

3) Location capacity limits (OneCloud)

OneCloud is capacity-based. If a region is full:

  • The region may not appear in the order form, or
  • Deployment may not complete until capacity is available

In this case, choose another available region or try again later.

4) Hardware stock constraints (Bare Metal)

Dedicated servers depend on physical inventory:

  • The selected configuration may be out of stock in that datacenter
  • On-demand offers may require lead time and are still subject to availability

If you need a specific setup, contact Sales for options and estimated availability.

5) Custom requests or additional options

Provisioning may take longer if you requested:

  • Extra IP addresses
  • Specific OS or custom installation requirements
  • RAID or storage changes (bare metal)
  • Non-standard network requirements

6) Maintenance or network events

Occasionally, maintenance or unexpected network issues can delay provisioning in a specific location.

What to do if your order is taking longer than expected

  1. Check the order/service status in the Client Area
  2. Review any emails or Client Area messages requesting action
  3. If there is no clear status update, open a support ticket and include:
    • Order number
    • Product type (OneCloud or Bare Metal)
    • Selected location
    • Any deadline or special requirements
